About Adriana L. Artunduaga

Adriana was drawn to the law long before she understood what practicing it would look like.

As a young girl, she was fascinated by philosophy and its questions about power, justice, and the role of the state. She wanted to put those ideas to practical, meaningful use. The law became the place where the abstract could lead to real change.

In law school, Adriana was captivated by how the law creates remedies for people harmed by the wrongdoing of others. For her, representing individuals has always felt more personal and meaningful than working on behalf of corporations. It allows her to help people seek accountability when an injury has disrupted their lives.

Earlier in her career in Colombia, Adriana worked in-house for the Colombian Olympic Committee and reviewed pharmaceutical research agreements for one of the country’s largest hospitals, work that sharpened her attention to detail in high-stakes, highly regulated matters.

Adriana later worked as a paralegal on personal injury matters, preparing settlement demand packages, reviewing medical records, drafting correspondence, and communicating directly with Spanish-speaking clients. That experience gave her an early understanding of how careful preparation and clear communication can shape a client’s experience throughout a case. She then spent six years as a personal injury attorney, managing her own caseload from intake through resolution.

Adriana is proud to serve members of the Hispanic community. She believes every client deserves compassionate and respectful treatment, along with a clear understanding of what is happening in their case. Her role is not only to handle the legal work with care, but also to make sure each client feels heard, informed, and supported.

Adriana considers her admission to several highly ranked U.S. law schools, her academic performance at Berkeley Law, and her admission to practice in New York, California, and Colombia among her proudest achievements. Those accomplishments reflect the same determination and discipline she brings to every case she handles.

When Adriana is not working, she can usually be found baking and spending time with her family. Making desserts has a way of quieting everything else down and offers a welcome balance to the demands of her legal work.
